Last Year And Now

Last Year I had a teacher named Mr. Sok who was a really awesome teacher because he wasn't boring. He helps us in our work and he is a good runner. Now Miss. Misela is my teacher she's is also just as cool as Mr. Sok and those two are my favorite teachers out of all.

Last year in 2017 I was a year 4. I was excited that I was with Mr. Sok because I was actually with him at 2016 when I was a year 3 because Mrs. Raj moved me. I had a really good time in the classroom and thing's were going really well though I did cry sometimes  I always moved on. But one day my classroom moved to the senior block. I was really scared because I was sure I will get growled by one of the senior teachers. But actually things were going really well and I haven't got growled. Then we returned to our classroom and it was almost the end of the year. Like December something it was the last day of school then people would leave school and have a 6 week holiday. We played soccer and lots of games. Then when school ended I cried when I returned home. Now it's time to talk about now.

When 2018 started I thought I was going to be with Mrs.Riley who is a decent teacher. Then I found out I was with a awesome teacher named Miss. Misela. When I found out I was so relieved to be with  Miss. Misela. Mrs.Riley is a cool teacher but I didn't really want to get yelled at for doing such a little thing so that's is why I was so relived to be with Miss. Misela. In the first week we did writing and other things so we started off normal. About a week later I was chosen to be in Extension Class. Also Extension Class is a little long session in Room 11 with a teacher named Mr.Meyer. Mr.Meyer is a smart teacher who shares interesting things with the people he's with. Extension Class was awesome because we got to listen to music. Now it's week 7 and we are nearly to week 11 which is the last week of term 1. I think I'm going to have a amazing time are you having a amazing time at school hopefully.

  

Warrior

Introduction

7th May 2018 my class room 10 and other classes had to go to room 11. A few mins later ToiToi came a little later. I went with a lady with blond hair and we were reading ToiToi stories. My favorite story was Warrior. 

On Monday 7th of May 2018 after fitness one of room 12's teachers Mr.Reid told all of the senior block that ToiToi was coming. I was filled with joy because I really loved ToiToi books. He also said to go to room 11 because that's where ToiToi was going to be at. A few mins later my teacher finished doing her roll and so my class went into room 11. Room 9 was singing at room 11 so my class joined in. ToiToi came a little later then expected so everyone sang for a little while. When ToiToi came all of the women introduced themselves but I forget their names.  Then every class in the senior block expect room 12 got split up into groups.

Next after ToiToi split the class rooms up I was with the a women with blond shiny yellow hair. Firstly she talked with us for a little while then we readied some stories. We readied lots of stories like Blue,Abandoned castle and more. All of them were so interesting and fun to read because the stories were made by 9 years old and even 10 years old. My favorite stories were Blue, The Abandoned Ghost Train,Flooded, Poppy and my most favorite story of all was Warrior.

Warrior is an awesome story because it's about this man who gets shipwrecked but he doesn't want to be saved. So it's basically like a man who wants to be lost I think. Anyway I really wanted to get the book so  I can read my favorite story as much as I want to. After a few more mins later everyone had to pack up. 

I really had a fun time and my favorite part was reading the story warrior. 

Spending time at church

It was Sunday 29th April. My whole family are Christians which is why we go to church. We wpent there and all of the little kids and big kids were reading their verses that were from the bible. Then everyone at church sang songs a minute later.

I was just sleeping then I woke up at 7 something. I went to the lounge and I lied down for a bit. After that I had to brush my teeth but I had to be told heaps of times until I actually stood up and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth. I then had 4 toasts with butter and jam. I didn't really like church actually because all I really did at church was sit down and sing or just listen. After breakfast I relaxed a little bit longer until my mum brought my clothes. Few minutes later my family was ready to go to church. My family had 1 black and red car and a white and grey van. My 2 sisters and my brother and I went in the car to church while my dad and mum came later to church in our grey and white van. We got to church and all the little kids and big kids were reading their verses from the bible. So I joined in.

At the church all of the little kids and big kids were reading their verses from the bible. I was late but no one cared so I went up and prepared a verse from the bible. My cousin Halasika came a little later then me so the adults told Halasika to go up earlier. Halasika, Fakaola and I suddenly had to do our heme. Now I don't really know what heme means in English but I'll find out. Then Halasika reads his heme first then Fakaola read her heme and then I read my heme last. One minute later my cousins and I read our heme so then we went back to our seats and sat down. Now everyone at church starts singing Tongan songs as loud as they can .

Everyone at church sings at church to honor God which is obvious unless you don't know about church. I don't actually know Tongan so it was really hard to sing the songs but I tried my best. Now when the church finishes singing a song everyone sits down and listens to the person that is the Malanga or speaker. At church our speaker was a women I think. After she talks in Tongan she reads something from the bible and then everyone stands up and sings so loud I feel like my ears are going to pop. Church is 1 hour too but sometimes if feels like it's going on and on until night time. One hour hour later church finishes and I went home and played games then I ate crispy and juicy chicken.

My favorite part was eating crispy and juicy chicken and playing games at home.

Reading
My reading goal is to read everyday at home for 5 minutes. Also I have to read more slowly and clearly.

Not Achieved
Because I've been lazy and I've not  been getting books.

Writing
My writing goal is to check my writing when I finish my work. When I write I will add noun, adjectives and verbs.

Achieved
Because I check my work and I add punctuation's.

Maths
My maths goal is to learn my sevens eights and nines.

Not Achieved
Because I don't practice.

ANZAC Museum

This is one of the things I saw at the museum. It was really amazing to look at but this is not the only thing I saw. In fact there were so many things I saw I'm not really sure if I can count all the things I saw.    

  

This is another amazing thing I saw and it's different from the other things  I saw at the museum because their windows .To be honest though it reminds me of my church because my church has similar windows like this photo.

This photo has got to be my 2nd favourite because I really liked the design and how the soldier and horse looked like. I wonder how the uniform was made and what the horse is made out of though. Who knows but I'll find out sooner or later.

This is my favorite thing I saw for a special reason. It's because it represents the soldiers who died. I really feel bad for the soldiers who sacrificed their life because some of them won't get to see their families  ever again.

Firstly Luffa was used in Ancient Egypt and have been cultivated for hundreds of years.
Next Loofah vines can grow up to 9 meters long too.
The fruit can grow up to 1.5 kilos each as well.
Another fact is that Loofahs are gourds which means they are part  of the pumpkin melon and cucumber family.
Lastly Loofahs are used to scrub dishes and other stuff which is unbelievable.
